Poverty and deprivation continue to affect large number of population across the world despite rapid growth over more than six decade and according to UN Report about 80 percent of the populations are living without access to adequate social protection cover. Social protection helps in the realization of all entitlements which are given as human rights to all human being and which are enshrined in Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Social Protection in India: - When we talk about the social protection in India, the Indian Constitution contains all the ingredients which compel the state to move towards the realization of socio-economic rights.
